Generations - Hail Mary and Mini Shreds!

Arguably the most impressive and inspiring athlete from "All.I.Can" is certainly still given' er hard.  In fact, like so many charging skiers at this time of the season, the irrepressible Mary Woodward is laid up with a leg injury.  At the tender age of 76, Mary took a spill while shredding the storied Whitehorn 2 chutes at Lake Louise resulting in a 100ft tomahawk and a broken leg.  Mend up soon Mary and we'll see you back on the slopes next season.

Prior to that though, it sounds like Mary was having an all time season.  Riding the bounties of Kootenay pow at Whitewater Ski Resort and also locking into an amazing day of cat skiing with her family donated by Valhalla Powder Cats at the "All.I.Can" Nelson premiere.

And while this news of Mary's great season and unfortunate wipeout at Lake Louise arrives to us at Sherpas headquarters, so does a timely email from Barrie, Ontario.  Just like the "Generations" segment from "All.I.Can", we're blessed with news of an impressive 6 year old mini shred named Matthew Bassin.  While watching "All.I.Can", Mini Matt (his nickname on the ski hill) is quoted as repeatedly saying, "I want to go there, I want to do that….when can we go there…where is that?".  Just take of a look at the style this little guy has in the pow, and he's shredding in Chamonix, amazing!  "I love all the super steep hills with lots and lots of powder", Matthew says.  We do to Matt, we do to!
